How can we help?

Everything you need to run, join and get the most from a Room Watt session.

How do I start a room?+

Click “Start a room”, sign in, and your host control centre opens. Your session goes live for signed-in students automatically.

Getting started

How do students join?+

Students sign in on the app page and join the live session. Their name appears on the host roster within seconds.

Getting started

Can I try it without an account?+

Yes. Without signing in the app runs in local demo mode with simulated students, so you can explore every feature.

Which files can I upload?+

PDF, Word (DOCX), TXT and Markdown. Drag several at once into the Course Library; text is extracted automatically and the original is kept for download.

Lecturers

Can Watts prepare a class for me?+

Yes. In the Course Library, ask Watts to prepare notes for a topic. It drafts class notes and 4–7 slides you can append or use to replace the sequence.

Lecturers

What is the Warm-Call Generator?+

It clusters student answers to a micro-case and highlights the contrasting viewpoints worth calling on to spark debate.

Lecturers

Watts reads a living brief built from your library, refreshed after every save, plus your teaching-style notes.

Watts AI

Yes. Use the global setting in the grounding page, and share or hide each file individually.

Watts AI

Are my conversations saved?+

Yes, privately per account, as separate threads you can return to or delete.

Can I look back at earlier slides?+

Yes. Scroll freely through slides and notes; press “Catch up to host” to rejoin the live slide.

Students

Invest virtual capital, flag a market risk or propose a pivot. They feed the host’s structured backchannel.

Students
